Judas Priest

Bom, acho que não é necessário falar nada...

O mais interessante do Judas, é que a banda começou oficialmente em 1968, mas só foi se tornar uma referência  na NWOBHM em 1976, com o Sad Wings of Destiny. Aliás, a capa deste álbum é um caso a parte, linda mesmo.
Para dar só uma idéia do porque o Judas Priest ser tão importante, foi ele quem "inventou" a guitarra rítmica dupla.
Outras bandas, como Scorpions, AC/DC, Wishbone Ash, entre outras, já se utilizavam delas, mas foi o Judas quem colocou isso de forma mais eficiênte e fazendo parte integral da música.

Ah, e com o álbum British Steel, ele basicamente ditou o vestuário e a forma como as bandas de metal seriam: muito couro, vestimenta preta, tachas e tudo muito "dark".
