Diamond Head

Diamond Head. Como se a banda precisasse de introdução, foi uma das pioneiras do NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal), juntamente com Saxon, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Girlschool, Blitzkrieg, etc. Apesar de ser uma banda bastante influente, não conseguiu muito sucesso na época, vindo a se desfazer em 1985. Interessante é que várias bandas, entre elas o Metallica e o Megadeth, já declararam uma forte influência dela em suas músicas.

Em 1993 o Diamond Head é reformado, para ser desfeito novamente em 1994. Após esse período, o pessoal se junta novamente em 2002 e a banda continua - até lá sabe-se quando - viva até hoje.
